Education Center

The LOTT Clean Water Alliance’s education program took a giant leap forward in 2010 by building a new Water Education and Technology Center’s (WET Center) exhibit gallery and classroom. LOTT's goal is to provide the community with a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn all about water, one of our most precious resources. Together, citizens and LOTT can conserve our water resources, support reclaimed water use, and take actions that will help protect Puget Sound. Learning more is the first step. Check out our education program offerings below and join us in this exciting journey!

Grand Opening

The Grand Opening for the new WET Center will be on August 14, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Join us for this special celebration, which will include food, fun, tours, and more. Your family can enjoy the many interactive exhibits, decorate a kite, learn about the many sustainable features of our new building, and find out about all of the educational programs we have to offer school and youth groups. The WET Center is located in LOTT's Regional Services Center, at 500 Adams Street NE, in downtown Olympia, just two blocks northeast of the Olympia Transit Station.

Students, be sure to check out our Water Cycle Video exhibit when you visit the WET Center. Then, create your own water cycle video. Your video could be selected to appear in our exhibit gallery! Videos should be 2-3 minutes in length, and any music included in the video should be from a copyright-free or royalty-free source. Send your water cycle video on a DVD to:
