The LOTT Alliance currently employs approximately 60 people within several different workgroups. The Budd Inlet Treatment Plant is comprised of Maintenance, Operations, and Process Control Sections. Each section has a variety of positions ranging from entry level to highly skilled journey-level workers, as well as support and supervisory staff. LOTT Alliance Administrative staff provides overall organizational support, including business and asset management, public relations, planning and computer, legal, and engineering support.

Engineering Intern – LOTT is seeking a motivated individual who is currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a two- or four-year college degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Wastewater Treatment, or closely related field to intern in our Engineering Division. This full-time summer position is a great opportunity to gain “real world” experience in your chosen field. Successfully completion of at least two years of college level course work and current Washington State Driver’s License are required. Selection Process

Applications will be screened according to pre-established criteria. The most qualified applicants will be invited to interview. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background investigation. Candidates will receive an Affiliated Information Resources Authorization form (AIR) and an Authorization and Release for Reference and Criminal Background Investigation form at completion of the interview process. If you are selected as the finalist for a position with the LOTT Alliance, you will be required to complete the forms authorizing release of background information. For positions requiring a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), any offer of employment is also contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening test and a CDL background check, including abstract of driving record and receipt of prior DOT drug/alcohol testing records from employers for whom the candidate worked or sought work.
